The following is a list of policies
and requirements for ownership of a PaVon
pup that we felt necessary for the health,
well being and protection of our pups based
on our experience with the breed. Requirements
for older pups and dogs will be handled on
a case by case basis. These policies are located
in the PaVon Sales contract on page 4, Section
16. A signature and date is required indicating
that you have read and clearly understand
what ownership of a PaVon pup entails.
If you do NOT understand or there is a conflict
with any aspect of our policies and requirements,
please let us know and we will work with you
to make sure all parties understand and are
agreeable with the contract and policies.
1. Completed PaVon
Questionaire required.
2. Deposit, as discussed in the Puppy Questionnaire,
is required upon acceptance
of Questionaire.
3. Co-own required on all pups/dogs until the
conditions of the contract have been
met.
4. Site visit to Buyer’s home by Breeder
or Breeder’s representative (where possible).
5. All pup buyers are required to provide documentation
of class attendance to: A.
Puppy socialization or similar class. For pups
age 8 - 16 weeks.
B. Puppy kindergarten
or similar class. For pups 4 - 6 months of age.
C. Level 1, Basic Obedience
or CGC classes. For dogs ages 6 months - 1 1/2
years.
6. Pet owners are placed on a spay/neuter
contract. Spay/neuter no earlier than
8 months of age and no later than 1 1/2 years
of age.
7. Pet owners, as well as Show prospect owners,
MUST provide copies of eye exams
performed by ACVO (American College of Veterinary
Ophthalmology) certified
veterinary ophthalmologist on ACVO exam forms,
screened for PPM’s,
CERF at 6 months of age (as specified in Section
4), and within 6 months
of the first planned mating for Show/Breeding
stock.
8. Co-ownership of pup/dog will not be relinquished
until all conditions of this sales
contract have been met, and may be extended
if Breeder/Seller feels additional
support is necessary.
9. All pups/dogs are microchipped under PaVon
Kennels/Sellers name, and under
no circumstance will be transferred to new
owners name.
